I made it through my first work day yesterday without smoking. I was really worried I wasn't going to be able to handle it. The one thing though, that bothered me, is that I had really strange dreams last night (stranger than normal) and I woke up 3 or 4 times during the night which doesn't usually happen. I am prepared that I will be waking up earlier in the day (that happened last time I quit smoking), but I wasn't prepared for the various odd dreams:
1. Ed & Live came to my house to perform a show. I was very worried about how they would like my house (told you it was odd, but God if I don't love to see Ed no matter where it is)
2. Tom's Uncle Jimmy (who died a few years ago) was a barber in a hotel I was at. For some reason I went into the barbershop to hide out. The funny thing is that Uncle Jimmy was blind in real life & he was blind in this dream. It's also interesting to note that never at any time did anyone come in for a haircut.
3. My toilet was about to overflow. I ran and got a pink towel to soak up any water, but right when it got to the brim, it went down. Then, I just kept flushing it to make sure it worked. Once, someone was on it (it was a woman but I don't remember who) and she said "you got me wet! but that's ok, at least it's clean water"
4. I was in a castle and I wasn't supposed to leave. I heard that there was going to be a fight so I went outside to see what was going on. There were a lot of people there, but for some reason I felt like we were just roleplaying. Perhaps that's because there was a freaking cable car going through the air! Anyway, a guard saw me & started yelling at me so I ran. They caught up to me, but then a voice from the sky said "there's an accident at 67 and 170 and traffic is backed up". They cowered in fear and I ran. Yes, it was the traffic report from my radio, and yes, they were all strange, but I warned you they were!
