I just read about this awesome new place called "Super Suppers". It's rather ironic that I found an article about it today since I drove by one the other day & wondered what the heck it was.

Turns out it's a place that you go to and "assemble" 12 dinners from their recipes. Then you bring those dinners home (each one has 4-6 servings) and heat them up, freeze them or whatever. I figured the price had to be astronomical, but for 12 dinners it's $185. You figure that works out to $15.42 a day, and then since in my family it would be dinner for 2, that is $7.71 for each of us to eat dinner each day! And I'm not talking about pizza. Their May menu is:

Honey Ginger Chicken Grill
Sirloin & Potato Bake
Chicken Cacciatore
Herb-Marinated Pork Chops
Seafood Divan
Heavenly Chicken
Ravioli with Italian Sauce
Sausage & Peppers with Rice
Beef & Cheddar Braided Bread
Sirloin Tacos
Beef & Broccoli Stir Fry

Since there may be some things you don't like, you can take out one entree & double-up on another. If the 12 is too much, they have a 6 meal plan that's $100. AND you can bring a friend & split the entrees into 2 pans while also splitting the cost. It seems like the perfect solution for busy families who don't have time to cook a great meal during the week (or who are too lazy, as is my case). Anyway, there are locations all over the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, and there are locations in other states as well (none in Atlanta or Alabama that I saw). Check out the page: Super Suppers
