My Rantings and Other Non-Sensical Thoughts

Today I am on vacation. I thought it would be fabulous - sleep in, clean, get Tom's truck fixed....Then why was I awake at 7:15 (making sure hubby was up)? Why could I not go back to sleep because they've decided TODAY to tear up the street in front of our house? I actually just felt my floor shake because of those bastards!

4-5 months ago they put patches on our street & a few streets surrounding ours. These are the worst constructed patches I've ever seen. They weren't even with the street itself, yet took up 3/4 of the area. Within days they were generating rocks and dust everywhere. It looks like you're driving down a country road with all the dust behind your car. I've pondered complaining to the city, but I was too lazy to look for their email address (and much too lazy to call). So what are they doing today? Creating a new poorly constructed patch! Those asses!
