I had off Friday and Monday - decided to take some vacation. I had grand plans, I'll tell ya! Yardwork, housecleaning, laundry....I intended to be the queen housewife this weekend. Of course, in actuality what I got accomplished was - laundry. I spent all day Friday playing Sims 2. Saturday the game started locking up & I spent all day pissed off. I uninstalled & reinstalled 3 times - losing the familes I'd spent 3 weeks on. It was definitely a sad day. That didn't fix the problem either. I was trying to build a house and never did make it through that - kept freezing. So today I called Electronic Arts Tech Support. First call got my game running for 45 minutes. 2nd call got it running for 4 1/2 hours. Then I tried to build again & froze. I figured out that saving as I went seemed to stop the freezing and after 5 restarts I finally had my house built. *sigh* isn't this supposed to be fun?
It's so sad that Christopher Reeve died. I guess it's sad because it was unexpected (at least for those not in his family) and because he was fighting so hard to walk again. At least he's walking in Heaven now.
Next weekend Tom & I are going to the State Fair. I got 2 free tickets from work. Don't expect many updates during this week. With 2 vacation days I'm sure I'll have *a lot* to catch up on.
Bunny, I hope you're ok. And I hope you're still not smoking. :)
